Derek Mitchell

Derek Mitchell is the North America Procurement Lead for Takeda Pharmaceuticals. In this senior leadership position he is accountable for Takeda’s United States Business Unit financial efficiency targets, and effective stakeholder relationship management. After graduating from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, Derek worked in the automotive industry in various capacities before focusing on procurement. Derek also has extensive procurement experience in consumer packaging and pharmaceuticals.
